Hello! I have to pitch my 4th year project this coming Friday. I'm looking forward to it, but not sure if I have enough content yet for it.I hope to make a game, more particularly a aerial combat game based during the Great War. My inspirations for that game been the space battles of Star Wars Battlefront II (2005), the jets and their interaction with ground forces in Battlefield 3 (2011) and War Thunder (2013).
I hope to be able to toogle the view from which the players plays the game, and give advantages to each. Say you are in first person, you can see all the dials and things in the cockpit, maybe know how much ammo you have, but your view would be less than in third person.
My main character at the moment is a British pilot. I'm unsure how I'm going to string a story together for why he joined the military to fight in France, but that's is an issue for another day!
I've been drawing ideas every chance I get for characters, environments, planes and airships every time I get the chance. I've got a sketchbook dedicated to progressing this project forward and write, doodle or theorise everything I feel would be useful in it. @JohnArmstrong94
That's me done here for another bit. If anyone actually reads this and is interested in this idea and would like to discuss it, I can be contacted @JohnArmstrong94
